Well started my journey in Newcastle and the flight to Dubia was ok, 7 and a bit hours of movies not on demand, but I coped. Then a 8.5 hour lay over in Dubia allowed me to get a hotel room. That was good and nice to lay out but I didn't really sleep, body was tired but my mind was racing. I went back to the airport and what a horrid airport - just in the fact that there are that many people all running around and there is hardly anywhere to sit. I was sat on the floor at one point. My next journey was Dubia - Bangkok - Sydney then finally here. Each time the plane stopped we had to disembark, walk round in a circle, go through customs again (note to self - do not wear a belt at all next time as that came off and on too many times) only to get back on the same plane.
But hey ho I am here, the island of the long white cloud. It is a balmy 27oC this evening and I am in a skirt, vest top and have my flip flops on (can't remember what they are called here - know it's thongs in Oz).
Anyway I am shatter, my random bag of food from the supermarket and my bed are all calling. So I'll crawl up the stairs and bid you good night as you are getting out of your bed to start your day.......
